About us  

At Walia Charity Association in North America, we are a compassionate nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives. Founded in 2020 in Northern Virginia, our community has grown to encompass members across the United States and Canada, united by a shared vision. 

Our Mission Statement is to provide vital support to the most vulnerable populations in Adiarkay, North Gondar Zone, Ethiopia. Specifically, we focus on empowering disadvantaged children, single parents, and senior adults, striving to break cycles of poverty and foster hope. Through collective efforts, we aim to create lasting change and improve the well-being of those we serve. 

Our Vision is a future where poverty is eradicated, hope is restored, and the Adiarkay community flourishes, with Walia Charity Association in North America as a beacon of compassion and service.
